HONEY & HELLFIRE

Of brimstone and hellfire her legend took flame,
In shadows where silence and destiny meet,
No hand ever touched or laid claim to her name,
Yet softness and strength moved as one in her beat.

She was a russet apparition at dusk’s tender light,
A vision that lingered where day turned to night,
Her sweetness like honey, her gaze burning bright,
A calm, quiet storm wrapped in velvet and might.

They watched her in wonder, unsure what she’d be,
For grace in her steps held a power so rare,
She moved like a whisper across every sea,
Yet thunder would follow wherever her stare.

No crown could define her, no walls could confine,
For freedom was stitched in the threads of her soul,
Her gentleness flowed in a rhythm divine,
While fire within her burned steady, controlled.

Brimstone and hellfire now bowed to her reign,
No battle she fought, yet no force could acquire,
Untouched in her power, through loss and through gain,
A woman both sweetness and sovereign fire.
